Back by popular demand, our Brusco, pays homage to the Italian Lambrusco wines that inspired its creation. Lambrusco wines trace their origins to ancient times in the Emilia-Romagna region of Northern Italy. Historically, cherished as a rustic, slightly fizzy red wine among local farmers and winemakers, Lambrusco saw a dramatic surge in popularity in the U.S. in the 1970s and 1980s. Our Finger Lakes rendition captures the essence of this beloved wine. This wine is a blend of Finger Lakes favorites Corot Noir, St. Croix, Marechal Foch, and balanced with the bright acidity of Cayuga White, resulting in a refreshing wine bursting with decadent red fruit notes.
This Lambrusco-style wine is refreshing and multifaceted, with layers of rich yet delicate dark berry notes. Our Brusco boasts a decadent blend of ripe cherries, blueberries, and wild strawberries, with a crisp and refreshing finish.
Dynamic and versatile, enjoy our Brusco next to a strawberry arugula salad with balsamic vinaigrette, pizza, barbecued ribs, or even with a brown butter chocolate soufflé topped with fresh blackberries.
